Our first tweetup was a success. We had people show up AND enjoyed themselves. We were able to raise money for a good cause (Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary). It was a Great experience to have some people walk into the restaurant, walk up to each other and say "Great to meet you in person"! Funny... you know each other, yet neither one has actually met the other. Definitely a Twitter Experience.
